Key Safety Systems Inc. agreed to pay $20,000 to a former employee who was demoted after he was deployed for military service. The payment resolves claims that Key violated the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994 , according to a statement from the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida.
