City officials pleased with revised town center plan - Wednesday, 29 October 2014 14:22

At a joint meeting of the King City City Council and Planning Commission on Oct. 15, Keith Liden, the city's planning consultant, provided an updated overview of the project that reflected many comments and suggestions made at open houses and charrettes held since last May. As a point of reference, the town center referred to in the plan is much more than the King City Plaza - it encompasses the commercial area along Pacific Highway from Fischer Road north to the condominiums. The King City Town Center Plan and Implementation Strategy is looking at how the city's business district might accommodate a greater range of uses and activities, be more pedestrian-friendly and provide better transit access.
