Testimony reveals often-bizarre behavior at the Mascotte Police Department

As Mascotte fights five lawsuits in federal and state court, all claiming it mistreated employees, a picture of a miserable - and sometimes bizarre - place to work has begun to emerge. The sworn testimony of a half-dozen former police officers described a Police Department micromanaged by a chief who constantly screamed to get his point across, who was focused on officers mopping floors several times a day rather than investigating crime and who once hid in the bushes while responding to a call of a violent home invasion.
