Some workers get a raise Thursday when Connecticut's minimum wage goes to $9.15 per hour, up from $8.70 an hour. The increase, effective Jan. 1, 2015, is the result of a new law Gov. Dannel P. Malloy signed earlier this year that requires a series of modest increases through 2017.
