The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area's unemployment rate fell to 6 percent in November, bringing the region's jobless numbers to their lowest levels since June 2008. The three-tenths of a percentage point drop still leaves the area with the highest seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate among the state's 14 metropolitan areas for the 56th straight month, the state Department of Labor & Industry announced Tuesday.
