York-Hanover's unemployment rate dropped to 4.8 percent in November, a more than 6-year low

York-Hanover's unemployment rate dropped to 4.8 percent in November, the lowest level in more than six years, as area employers continued to add jobs amid an improving economy. The region's jobless rate shrank from 5 percent in October and improved from 6.6 percent in November 2013, the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry reported Tuesday.
