Area unemployment rate falls to 5.3 percent in November

Number of people counted out of work in the Lehigh Valley and beyond dips to lowest rate since May 2008. The Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry says the region saw a drop of 0.3 percent in November, to 5.3 percent, compared with 5.6 percent in October.
