Lawsuit ruling has DA continuing as a defendant in his 'personal capacity'

Fourteen months after Shawnee County District Attorney Chad Taylor asked a federal judge to reconsider a decision in an ongoing lawsuit, the judge sustained that decision last week. Chief Judge Kathryn Vratil ruled Dec. 17 that Taylor will remain a defendant "in his personal capacity" facing claims that he violated the Fair Labor Standards Act as part of a lawsuit being pursued by former district attorney's office employees Krystal L. Boxum-Debolt and Lisa Anne Moore.
