Editorial: Whistleblower law a needed step forward

Strengthening the state's whistleblower law hasn't been as high profile as some of the other pieces of proposed ethics reform, but it's still an important measure. A bill pre-filed by S.C. Rep. Laurie Funderburk, D-Camden, aims to strengthen that law, which is a vital part of having an open and ethical government.
