Good news for job searchers: Pennsylvania's unemployment rate in December 2014 fell to 4.8 percent, the lowest it has been since March 2008, the state Department of Labor and Industry announced. The state unemployment rate was down 2.0 percentage points from December 2013, according to the Department of Labor and Industry.
