Fort Morgan opened this new pedestrian bridge over the Upper Platte and Beaver Canal between Interstate 76 and Riverside Park on Wednesday. Unlike the old bridge it replaced, it meets Americans with Disabilities Act standards and should make for a safer and easier trip on foot or bicycle or in a wheelchair between the city's Old Fort Park and Riverside Park.
