Rochester unemployment rate dips

Rochester's economy continued to improve in November, with an increase in the number of jobs and a decrease in the unemployment rate, the state Department of Labor reported Tuesday. The Rochester metro area's jobless rate was 5.4 percent last month, down from 6.2 percent a year ago, not seasonally adjusted.
