A company suing Scranton officials for shutting down a halfway house for recovering substance abusers will be permitted to reopen the structure while the suit is pending. Oxford House Inc. and Chris and Rob Properties LLC filed suit in August, accusing city officials of illegally shutting down the home at 1701 Linden St. without providing the owners the opportunity to challenge the action.
