Fed law expands savings options for disabled

Advocates for the disabled are lauding a new federal law that allows families to provide savings accounts to cover long-term health needs of their disabled family members. Long sought-after by families, these savings accounts can be used to cover expenses for daily necessities such as medical and dental care, education, employment training, housing and transportation.
