Highland committee proposes building new elementary schools

At the Highland Local Schools Board of Education meeting Oct. 20, Highland Facilities Advisory Committee member Kimberly Bolas Miller gave a presentation and recommendation regarding the options for resolving issues with the elementary and middle school buildings. At previous meetings, Superintendent Catherine Aukerman said the buildings are aging and present many safety and learning concerns, such as leaky ceilings and lack of air conditioning.
