The most dramatic moment of the Scotch Plains Township Council debate on Monday evening was the announcement by Vastine that he was in possession of a 2010 letter from the Department of Labor that documented faulty financial record-keeping at Carpenters Local 715, where Del Sordi was treasurer at the time.
