CORNING >> The Corning City Council approved a resolution to repave or rebuild stretches of Solano, Third and Hoag streets, as well as Toomes Avenue. The Street Repaving and Reconstruction Plan, which city staff said could begin construction next spring, includes repaving of Solano Street west of the Interstate 5 northbound ramps, and east of Toomes Avenue to West Street.
