SmartLink Transit will lay off all its drivers

SmartLink Transit, which provides bus services in Scott and Carver counties, will lay off dozens of employees as the agency wrestles with the loss of two big revenue sources. The Star Tribune reports that Scott County, which funds the service, is shifting to outside contractors to drive the bus fleet.
