Rochester area unemployment rate drops to 6 percent

Rochester's economy continues to show promise this year, with an increase in the number of jobs and a decline in the unemployment rate in February, the state Department of Labor reported Tuesday. The Rochester metro area's jobless rate was 6 percent last month, down from 6.9 percent in February 2014.
