Syracuse area unemployment for February dropped

According to numbers released today by the state Department of Labor, unemployment in the Syracuse area fell to 6.3 percent in February from 7.3 percent in February 2014. Numbers released last week show that the Syracuse area gained 1,200 jobs in February when compared with the previous year.
