Showing brazen disregard for service rules, a Punjab IAS officer went to Leh and stayed there for six days, to "attend" a training course that never happened. Organised by National Productivity Council , the course on "team performance for achieving excellence", planned for July 7 to 11, 2014, was postponed, but the officer showed participation and claimed Rs 1.86 lakh from the government for his six-day trip.
