Honda Supports Proposed Legislation to Require Car Owners to Complete All Recall Repairs

A new bill requiring all car owners to repair their recalled vehicles has been backed by Ralph Nader and Honda. If signed into law, the legislation introduced Monday by Sen. Ed Markey and co-sponsored by Sen. Richard Blumenthal would encourage states, at the time of a new-vehicle registration or renewal, to make everyone complete any open recalls on their cars.
