9th Circuit Denies Further Review, Sends Hanford Whistleblower Case Back to Trial Court

Today, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals denied Defendant URS's motion for en banc review of the court's November 2014 decision, which reversed the dismissal of Hanford whistleblower Dr. Walter Tamosaitis' federal whistleblower lawsuit against URS Energy and Construction for its complicity in removing him from his job at the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant in 2010. A three-judge panel had issued the opinion, and under 9th Rules, a party can file a motion asking that a larger number of judges decide the issue "en banc."
