Mid-Market Savers Could Be Hurt, Industry Groups Say

WASHINGTON Insurance and financial industry trade groups said today they would work with the Obama administration on retooling existing rules regarding sale of investment products into retirement accounts. But they voiced deep concern that a final rule could reduce the ability of middle- and lower-income Americans to obtain professional advice.
