According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Nebraska's seasonally adjusted jobless rate dropped to 2.7 percent, 0.2 percent lower than North Dakota. In a news release, Department of Labor Commissioner John Albin called the ranking "an important milestone for our state that coincides with continued employment growth and strong workforce participation."
