Sandigan junks Jinggoy's bid to block AMLC lawyer's testimony

MANILA The Sandiganbayan denied an urgent motion to suppress or exclude the testimony of an Anti-Money Laundering Council lawyer in the bail hearing of Senator Jinggoy Estrada and Janet Lim Napoles. In junking the senator's petition, the anti-graft court's fifth division said the "inquiry to the bank deposit was pursuant to a state-sanctioned legislation specifically the Obudsman Act of 1989."
