Alleged false Medicare claims lead to $1M settlement with federal government

Agility Health and Oceana County Medical Care Facility will pay the federal government 1-million-dollars following charges that they submitted false claims to Medicare. U.S. Attorney Patrick Miles announced Wednesday that Agility Health, LLC and Oceana County Medical Care Facility have entered into the agreement to resolve allegations that they submitted false claims to Medicare, or caused false claims to be submitted to Medicare, in violation of the federal False Claims Act.
