Groups to host event focused on hiring vets

Three Colorado organizations have teamed up to encourage local companies and nonprofits to hire veterans and will host an event Feb. 26 to iterate that point. The Pikes Peak Workforce Center partnered with the Small Business Development Center and the Procurement Technical Assistance Center to host the day-long event, which will expose employers to recruiting tools and company strategies to find skilled veteran workers.
