Carmel >> The Forest Theater will not reopen this year as planned because of the amount of time it will take to prepare construction documents and to complete initial renovations, according to a statement released by the city Thursday morning. City officials and two Carmel theater groups that use the theater decided this week to postpone the reopening until 2016.
