A group of U.S. senators is lobbying President Barack Obama to quadruple the number of U.S. workers eligible for overtime pay, including working class employees - such as fast-food shift supervisors - whom many companies now put in the same classification as executives. Currently, only people earning no more than $455 per week are required by law to be paid at least time-and-a half if they work more than a 40-hour workweek.
