SEC says it's planning to pay record $30 million whistleblower award

The Securities and Exchange Commission said Monday it is expected to award a $30 million award to a foreign whistleblower for providing key information leading to successful enforcement action. This award is set to be the largest ever given out by the SEC's whistleblower program, its previous high was $14 million in October.
