The Florida Department of Transportation is conducting a public hearing regarding the proposed improvements to State Road 518, from west of Mosswood Drive to east of Pineapple Avenue. The project will consist of roadway resurfacing, upgrading of signing and pavement markings, a safe pedestrian path at Stewart Avenue, Access Management improvements at Cypress Avenue, Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility improvements, as well as aesthetic improvements within the Eau Gallie Arts District.
