Onondaga Community College gets $2.5 million job-training grant

The U.S. Department of Labor has approved a $2.5 million grant for Onondaga Community College to train workers for jobs in the agribusiness and food processing industry. "The nearly $2.5 million investment in this New York college announced today will help prepare local workers with the skills needed for in-demand careers and advance the role of community colleges as engines of economic growth," said U.S. Secretary of Labor Thomas Perez.
