Continued work on Oakland Drive at Parkview Avenue intersection among local road projects this week

City of Kalamazoo road crews will continue work this week on the reconstruction of the intersection at Oakland Drive and Parkview Avenue as part of a host of Kalamazoo County road projects expected to continue this week. While the work, which includes adding a through lane on westbound Parkview and southbound Oakland, was originally slated to be finished by Aug. 29, the project is now on track to be finished by Nov. 21, according to a joint press release issued by the Kalamazoo County Road Commission and the cities of Kalamazoo and Portage.
