Pennsylvania community colleges launch first statewide prior learning program in U.S.

In an effort to help adult students translate educational, worklife and life experiences into college credit, Pennsylvania's community colleges have launched College Credit FastTrack, the first statewide Prior Learning Assessment initiative in the country. The program allows the state's 14 community colleges to permit adult learners to earn credit for learning through training and work experiences.
