Paterson may pay $3.15M for private garbage collections for another year

The city is planning to continue using a private contractor for garbage collection for the coming year, despite discussions last summer about having the work done by municipal employees in an effort to save money. "It's easier said than done," Mayor Jose "Joey" Torres said of switching to in-house trash collection.
