A parliamentary committee is delving into allegations the former Special Crime and Internal Affairs unit bugged more than 100 police officers, and a few journalists, in the early 2000s. Police officers, including now-Deputy Commissioner Nick Kaldas, have claimed they were unjustly targeted and that affidavits to obtain the surveillance warrants contained false or misleading information.
