Norwich fire districts seek ways to boost collaboration

Norwich - Less than a week after the Charter Revision Commission decided not to recommend changes to the city's controversial dual fire tax system, acting City Manager John Bilda launched an effort to improve communications and interaction among the city's one career department and five volunteer departments. Bilda called all six fire chiefs last Wednesday to the first meeting of the Norwich Fire Chiefs Collaborative Leadership Team at City Hall.
