Ashley Furniture contests OSHA fines, penalty notices

Ashley Furniture has contested "all portions of each and every citation and penalty notice and all proposed abatement dates issued as a result of any and all inspections" by the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration . In early February, OSHA announced Ashley Furniture is facing a $1.76 million fine after the safety organization reported more than 1,000 work-related injuries in the past three years.
