Sen. Schumer pushes federal funding for community college programs

Tech Valley needs workers and U.S. Senator Charles Schumer wants to make sure New Yorkers are prepared to fill those jobs. In a conference call Wednesday, Schumer detailed his efforts to obtain federal grant money and fund a SUNY community college partnership across the state, allowing veterans and adult learners to gain training to fill positions where skilled workers are highly in demand.
