New hires to manage WVU-P's $3M grant

West Virginia University at Parkersburg hired two new employees to manage a $3 million grant designed to encourage West Virginians to enroll in and graduate from technical programs. The state of West Virginia received $25 million from the U.S. Department of Labor in its Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training grant program to use in encouraging West Virginians to return to school and graduate, said Katie Wootton, director of marketing and communications at WVU-P.
