Ex-Health Department worker files discrimination complaint

A former employee of the city's Health Department has filed a complaint against the city with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. Keith Healey, a spokesman for MCAD, confirmed that former Health Department project coordinator Renee Stevens, who is black, has an active case pending against the city of New Bedford, but said he could not confirm any other information about the active investigation.
