Deputy Topeka Fire Chief Greg Moody on Friday emailed city officials claiming The Topeka Capital-Journal's story Thursday about shift trading is misleading but confirmed information included in the story. "Despite the best efforts of the City of Topeka and the fire department to relay accurate information regarding this practice, the article was presented in a manner we believe gave misconceptions on what is legal and accepted practice," Moody wrote.
