Judge may rule on commuter tax's fate Monday

After daylong testimony in a lawsuit against Scranton's commuter tax, city solicitor Jason Shrive made a motion to dismiss the case before presenting his side. The burden of the 58 petitioners hoping to kill the commuter tax was to prove the city's tax ordinance was fundamentally illegal and they failed, Mr. Shrive contended.
