County Seeking Office Space Solutions

County officials discussed office space needs for county offices and employees during a workshop session of Commissioners Court on March 20. After discussion of how to best utilize second floor space in the county annex building on Calvert Avenue and remain in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the discussion then moved on to how the recently purchased Kuhnel building, also located on Calvert, could be best used. County Commissioner Pete Jauer suggested that the Kuhnel building could be used for office space for two new county departments - human resources and the office of the chief financial officer.
