Busting Myths About Mediation

"Any employer can be aggressive, but not every employer can be smart," said Whitney Warner, an attorney with Moody & Warner in Albuquerque, N.M., speaking March 23 at the Society for Human Resource Management 2015 Employment Law & Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. Describing the many myths about mediation with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission , she characterized it as frequently a smarter choice than litigation. This is often not so, Warner said.
