Huron County jobless rate drops to 8.9%

After having the state's fifth-worth jobless rate at 10.3 percent in April, Huron County shaved nearly 1 1/2 percentage points off that mark in May and dropped to 14th on the dubious list, according to the most recent statistics released this week by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services .
