Job Corps suspends enrollment for many at-risk candidates

For tens of thousands of at-risk American teens and young adults, the federal government’s Job Corps program offers a second chance at gaining professional skills and furthering their education.But the U.S. Department of Labor, which oversees the program, is looking to bridge a $60 million gap in its $1.6 billion budget.
