Coal miners' comp office to close in W-B

In another sign that Northeastern Pennsylvania's once ubiquitous mining industry is fading away, the federal workers' compensation division dealing with coal miners and black lung disease in Wilkes-Barre will be closing no later than the end of February, a Department of Labor spokesman said Friday.
