Akron man indicted for receiving nearly $350,000 in fraudulent government benefits

James Van Buskirk, 53, defrauded the Ohio Bureau of Worker's Compensation out of $269,932.99, receiving nine payments between March 2010 and April 2014, according to the indictment. He did this by not disclosing his work and income to the bureau.
